Café Pouchkine Doha translates the house’s ornate hospitality language into a luminous contemporary interior.

Brand heritage is approached as a vocabulary to reinterpret, not a historic room to copy. Curves, pattern and metallic detail establish familiarity while proportion and lighting adapt the atmosphere to its Doha setting.

The guest experience moves between the visual abundance of arrival and the more intimate scale of the table. This shift allows the interior to feel memorable in overview and comfortable in use.

The project balances ceremony with clarity. Decorative richness is concentrated in crafted surfaces, display and furniture, while the wider room retains a legible order suited to a modern café.

Translate heritage

Recognisable codes are recast through contemporary proportion, craft and light rather than reproduced literally.

Give display architectural weight

Presentation becomes part of the room’s composition and helps organise the first impression.

Bring ceremony down to the table
