A Moscow restaurant where classical hospitality is sharpened by confident geometry, theatrical light and carefully placed colour.

The dining rooms balance grandeur with the closeness required at the table. Strong architectural frames establish order, while upholstery, metalwork and pools of light create smaller territories within the larger interior.

Decorative detail is given hierarchy. Instead of filling every surface equally, the design uses contrast and pause to make selected moments more vivid, allowing guests to read the room gradually.

Café Savoy treats history as material, not as a script to reproduce. Familiar codes of ceremony and richness are edited into a contemporary sequence with its own pace and visual authority.

Historical references are translated through proportion and craft rather than copied as a ready-made style.

Make grandeur hospitable

Lighting and seating create intimate scales inside a more formal architectural setting.

Use detail as punctuation

Ornament appears where it strengthens a threshold, a view or the experience of the table.
