Yakitoriya’s washrooms and kintsugi-inspired details turn repair, reflection and crafted imperfection into a distinct interior chapter.

The design works at close range, where guests notice the junction between materials, the edge of a mirror and the way light catches an irregular line. These details carry the concept more convincingly than literal imagery could.

Expressive surfaces are held within a controlled composition so the result remains precise. The idea of repair becomes a visual language—one that connects difference, craft and the value of the visible trace.

Rather than repeating the dining room, these spaces deepen the restaurant’s Japanese references through another lens. Broken lines, luminous seams and reflective surfaces transform a functional interlude into an encounter with its own identity.
