A Phuket restaurant organised around an open kitchen, marina views and a light-filled guest journey.

The project begins with two active centres: the open kitchen and the view. Seating, circulation and lighting are arranged so the guest remains connected to both, while service movement retains its own clear logic.

Material transitions and ceiling rhythm calibrate the atmosphere across the room. The result is recognisable in photographs, but its central work is spatial: directing attention, supporting operation and changing character through the day.

Design approach / 02

Lume is conceived as a sequence between arrival, kitchen energy and the horizon beyond the dining room. Light, reflection and controlled colour give the interior presence without competing with the marina setting.

Frame the first view

Arrival establishes the relationship between the dining room, open kitchen and marina before the full plan is revealed.

Let operation carry energy

The kitchen becomes part of the guest experience while service routes remain coordinated with daily use.

Design for changing light

Reflective and tactile surfaces are balanced so the interior works in strong daylight and evening illumination.
