Country house reconstruction with a private spa
INTERIOR+DESIGN documents the transformation of a country-house wing in Astana into a restrained living environment and complete private wellness suite.

A new life for the west wing
The intervention reworked approximately 200 square metres within a much larger two-storey residence in Astana. The brief called for a contemporary interior that felt calm and enduring, without repeating the classical language of the existing house.
Wellness as architecture
The former pool area was reorganised into a complete home spa with sauna, hammam, chromotherapy shower, massage room and places to rest. Natural stone, timber, clear and matt glass create continuity between the living and wet zones.
